There is a sense of total freedom in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. The inspiration for this work.

I'm interested in exploring those places in ourselves and in nature that are still wild, and connected to something much larger than ourselves.
.
Bison are mystical to me, and while they can be fierce, they are incredible gentle giants. I wanted to share the wild gentleness I feel for them and these mountains in this piece. It's a space that we can find internally and in those moments in nature, in the wild.
