Nohku has a deep and mysterious presence. I can only hope to do this mountain range justice. My heart is with these mountains in the heart of the Poudre Canyon near Cameron Pass.
 
This is also a continuation of my series of Mom & Baby Animals of the Rockies :)
 
This painting was a study in layers of depth perception that I haven't attempted in quite this way before.
 
As always it brought new challenges and rewards to maintain the dynamic energy and integrity of the cross hatch style, and also attempt realism.
