"Sunsets in the Rockies can be breathtaking. With this painting I wanted to give tribute to the beauty of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado where I grew up. I would often see Elk in Rocky Mountain National Park and I feel as though their wisdom is apparent in how they walk softly on the earth, humble and unassuming.
